Weather Underground sure knows how to throw a party. Open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, awesome music, talented performers (contortionists and a man in a giant grasshopper costume), and nonstop photo booth fun… all in a SPRING themed space with breathtaking views. The Spring Soiree at The Glasshouses in Chelsea NYC was definitely the place to be!

I fell in love with sarees. It was our first traditional Indian wedding and many ladies wore colorful sarees, and they were all so beautiful! The way it drapes and hugs a woman’s body all seems very romantic to me. Payal and Neeraj celebrated their reception at the Marriott in Long Island, NY with 300+ family and friends and Payal was GLOWING in her sarees. It was a fun night and we loved that it was the first for many to take a picture inside a photo booth (and rock a funky mustache)! Congratulations again to Payal and Neeraj!

Held at Water’s Edge in Long Island City, NY, Rebecca and Rohit’s wedding was super fun and intimate. It always makes me smile when the couple has fun on their big day and are surrounded by people with positive energy. It also helped us complete a scrapbook album on-site with lots of comments and pictures! Congratulations again, Rebecca and Rohit! Have fun on your honeymoon!

Founded 50 years ago, Catalyst is a leading nonprofit organization expanding opportunities for women and business all over the world. We are honored to have been part of its 50th Anniversary Celebration and Award Conference at the Waldorf=Astoria in NYC. Our video booth captured 30-second digital testimonials of why people believe they are a Catalyst and how they are making change for women in business. It was an inspiring and uplifting experience to meet leaders from large corporations (Coca-Cola, Walmart, IBM, Campbell Soup, etc) and hear their stories and how they’ve helped women in the corporate world. The two-day event flew by like a breeze and we are still moved by the whole experience.

We donated our booth to the 10^th Anniversary of A Taste of Greenwich House at the Metropolitan Pavilion, a tasting benefit in support of thousands of New Yorkers Greenwich House serves. 30 amazing New York chefs and restaurants (Little Owl, Maritime Parc, and L’Artusi, to name a few) contributed to this great cause and provided a unique culinary experience for all the attendees. We had a great time and are still drooling over the shrimp succotash from Little Owl and the poppyseed bread and butter pudding from Annisa. Yum…

The New York Junior League is an organization of women who are committed to promoting volunteerism and strengthening the health and well-being of children and families within the communities it serves. Each year trained volunteers donate more than 250,000 hours of their time to better the lives of women and children in NYC. When they first approached us for a donation of two photobooths for their Winter Ball, we immediately agreed and even moved up the completion date of our newest booth just for them! The event was held at The Pierre (New York, NY) and it was beautifully decked out in lush Moroccan tapestries and bright jewel tones to fit the Moonlight in Marrakesh theme. We had a wonderful time and are honored to have contributed to such a great organization. Check out the photos below with all the ladies looking stunning in their gowns!

Rachel celebrated her birthday in style at the Bubble Lounge in NYC, a swanky space with great ambiance and music. The party had open bar, hors d’oeuvres, champagne toast, a beautiful cake, and nonstop fun in the photo booth. FUN FACT: it was the first event that props were used in every single picture! Rachel, you have awesome friends and we hope you had a blast. Happy 21st Birthday!!

Jennifer and Juan’s wedding was held at The Fountainhead (Westchesster, NY) and they were in a giddy, fun-loving mood the entire night. We love it when couples are able to enjoy their big day with their guests. It was obvious that it was a close-knit group–there were lots of hugs, kisses, and crazy moves on the dance floor and in the photo booth. The star of the evening was the couple’s oldest son who not only had his own dance with his mom but also embellished the scrapbook album with MANY photos and comments. He kept wanting to say more to his parents… it was the sweetest thing! Congrats again to Jennifer and Juan!!

Our second wedding of the year was for Annie and Bill at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park (New York, NY). It was our first time there and we were completely in awe of the romantic views and the tasteful decorations. It’s like a little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of NYC, and a perfect place for romance for a super sweet and gorgeous couple. The talented bride even made a strand of streamers/pom-poms for the backdrop of our Sweet Booth, and it turned out amazing! We have met a lot of couples and I have to say that Annie and Bill are just one of those couples that make you believe in love and how waiting for the right person is so worth it…

Annie and Bill, I completely adore you two and wish you all the best in your married life together. Congrats again!!

Renee’ is one of the sweetest, most loving, big-hearted people you’ll ever meet. It was so nice to finally meet her and give her a big hug after our year long email exchange! Renee’ and Robert’s wedding was held at the beautiful Florentine Gardens (Rivervale, NJ) and even though it was only 20 degrees outside, the couple was in all smiles and looked so warm and happy in love. I was smitten by the choreographed father-daughter dance, fleece blankets as wedding favors, and a gorgeous 5-tier wedding cake (topped with a 3-story castle!) adorned with sparkly sugar orchids that gave a dreamy winter feel. It felt like a winter wonderland in a fairytale setting…

Ah… what a perfect way to kick off our 2012 wedding season! Congrats again to Renee’ and Rob!!
