Vivian and Mark Wedding

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” -Dr. Seuss

Vivian and Mark’s 6-hour wedding reception at The Green Building (Brooklyn, NY) was fun and filled with wonderful details, food, dancing and lots of energy. With exposed brick walls and chandeliers, the venue set the tone for a rustic, intimate affair. I loved exploring the space and finding personal touches by the creative bride, such as the organic table numbers and runners and the canvas prints on the walls. Even the flower girls were in pink tutus and shirts with the wedding logo! To the happy couple, thanks again for having us on your special day and we wish you the best!

Kentucky Derby Fiesta

“Life is an echo — what you send out comes back.” -Unknown

Last year we donated a 2-hour photo booth voucher to a silent auction hosted by Princeton Child Development Institute in Princeton, New Jersey. This non-profit institute offers a broad spectrum of science-based services to children and adults with autism as well as programs that teach young children to speak, read, write, and do many of the things that a mainstream kid would do. We are glad to have contributed to this wonderful school and that our donation generated a lot of buzz/bids at the fundraiser! The family who won the auction redeemed it for a Kentucky Derby Fiesta at their home last weekend. It was a fun event and the kids were the star of the party–just look at the pictures below!

Cesar & Bruce Wedding

“True love stories never have endings.” -Richard Bach

Wow, what a tasteful, memorable affair! Cesar and Bruce hosted their wedding reception at The Hudson Theatre, right in the middle of Times Square in NYC. Guests showed up in royal hats and outfits like they were going to see a play, and the entire reception matched the Broadway theme perfectly with flamboyant decor, Broadway play wedding program, and live performances. Even the speeches were given on the balcony overlooking the guests! Oventz International Events really outdid themselves this time. Bravo!!

Cesar and Bruce, congratulations on your wedding! We wish you a future that’s as classy as you two are!

Patricia and Doug Wedding

“Trip over love, you can get up.  Fall in love and you fall forever.”  -Unknown

620 Loft & Garden at the Rockefeller Center is hands down one of our favorite venues in Manhattan. It has a private garden, reflective pool, fountain, and GORGEOUS views of Fifth Avenue and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. The staff is also super friendly and beyond professional, and every time we are there we like we are family. It’s suitable for smaller, more intimate weddings but if you want a classic New York City wedding in a extraordinary setting, this is the place. Patricia and Doug tied the knot here last weekend and their ceremony was so sweet and emotional. I particularly enjoyed the wine ceremony and hearing about what they love most about one another. ♥

Patricia and Doug, we feel lucky to have been part of your celebration and wish you a lifetime of happiness! Congrats again!

Latina Researchers Conference

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” -Mark Twain

We had the pleasure of bringing our photo booth to the dinner reception of the Latina Researchers Conference at John Jay College CUNY in Manhattan, and it was so much fun! The conference theme represented a mission to ensure that historically disadvantaged populations in research activities enter and remain in academia, and they hosted a 2-day event of speakers, presentations, music, food, and networking opportunities for the attendees. This was a great crowd with lots of energy and excitement… just check out the pictures below!

iHug Benefit Gala

“Charity begins at home, but should not end there” -Proverb

The International HUG Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reach out to disadvantaged and orphaned children in Uganda by providing them with education, healthcare, and an environment that fosters their physical, social, and emotional development. We had the privilege of bringing our photo booth to their 2012 Benefit Gala at the National Arts Club (New York, NY) and met many wonderful people who have contributed to iHUG’s mission/projects. Events like these remind us of how lucky we are and to take a few moments of our life to appreciate what we have. Overall, it was a successful event with great people, delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and fun in the photo booth!

Tribeca Film Festival Private Screening

“Everything I learned I learned from the movies.” -Audrey Hepburn

We had the pleasure of bringing our photo booth to a Tribeca Film Festival private screening event sponsored by American Express. Held at the gorgeous Crosby Street Hotel in Soho NYC, the event had delicious hor d’oeuvres, drinks, and dessert for the guests to enjoy before the screening. From the sign-in table to the floor layout to the activities for the attendees, every detail of the event was meticulously planned and executed to provide an upscale, intimate experience. What a great way to start out the week! Thanks again for having us!

Jennifer and Andy Wedding

“My whole heart for my whole life.” – French phrase

When the bride first told me her wedding theme was SHEEP, I was intrigued. Jen and Andy are globetrotters (her bachelorette party was in Iceland!) and I knew their wedding would be unique and creative. It was held at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY, a non-profit farm and education center with sheep, pigs, chicken, turkey, geese, and 200 varieties of produce. They have a “farm to table” concept in which they cook with the freshest ingredients from their farm. And boy, were they right! Our meal was fresher than anything I’ve ever tasted and I was in food heaven. We plan to arrive earlier next time so we can tour the farm and of course, eat! 🙂

Jen and Andy, thanks for having us on your special day and we wish you two the best! Congrats again!

Jamie and Marc Wedding

“Love is a symbol of eternity.  It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end.” -Unknown

We seriously get to work with the most good looking and down-to-earth couples. From my emails with Jamie I could tell she was very excited about her big day, and when I saw her smile the way she did on her wedding day, I knew that she just had the day of her dreams. 🙂 Jamie and Marc’s wedding was held at Brigalias (Sicklerville, NJ) and they provided a fun affair for their guests with a photo booth, on-site caricaturist, and great music. It was definitely a memorable evening for everyone! Congrats again, Jamie and Marc!

Esther and Tae Wedding

“After all there is something about a wedding gown prettier than any other gown in the world.” -D.W. Jerrold

Esther and Tae’s big day was held at Giando on the Water (Brooklyn, NY) which had unobstructed, panoramic views of the city and 3 bridges. It was a sweet soiree with elegant flowers, adorable custom wine sleeves as favors, and a breathtaking wedding gown. Can’t wait to see the pictures from Twah Dougherty! Congrats again to Esther and Tae!
