“Growing up happens in a heartbeat. One day you’re in diapers; the next day you’re gone. But the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul.” –The Wonder Years
Before bringing our photo booth to Jemma’s Bat Mitzvah, we did a little research on its meaning and significance. We learned that it symbolizes the beginning of a child’s life as an adult and the celebration is an important component because it honors the child’s accomplishments and gives loved ones an opportunity to show great pride and joy for the child. Jemma’s Bat Mitzvah was held at her favorite Mulino Restaurant in White Plains, NY, and it was a fun and intimate afternoon with candle lighting, speeches, slideshows, games, music, tattoo painting (check out the photos!) and our photo booth and scrapbook station. We particularly enjoyed Jemma’s father’s speech about her childhood and how much she enjoyed singing and dancing at a young age. It was so sweet and touching to see how proud her parents were of her!
Jemma, you are an incredible young lady and we had fun capturing all the excitement at your Bat Mitzvah. Congratulations again and we hope you enjoy the photos and the scrapbook!
