Renee’ and Robert Wedding

“To love abundantly is to live abundantly, and to love forever is to live forever.” -Henry Drummond

Renee’ is one of the sweetest, most loving, big-hearted people you’ll ever meet. It was so nice to finally meet her and give her a big hug after our year long email exchange! Renee’ and Robert’s wedding was held at the beautiful Florentine Gardens (Rivervale, NJ) and even though it was only 20 degrees outside, the couple was in all smiles and looked so warm and happy in love. I was smitten by the choreographed father-daughter dance, fleece blankets as wedding favors, and a gorgeous 5-tier wedding cake (topped with a 3-story castle!) adorned with sparkly sugar orchids that gave a dreamy winter feel. It felt like a winter wonderland in a fairytale setting…

Ah… what a perfect way to kick off our 2012 wedding season! Congrats again to Renee’ and Rob!!

Ching + Lyle Wedding

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” -Helen Keller

Held at the Mansion at Woodside Acres (Muttontown, NY), Ching and Lyle’s wedding reception was ALL about fun and dancing. They are both very talented dancers and so are a lot of their guests.  There was a first dance, second dance, money pinning dance, and even a hopping-over-bamboo-sticks dance. We felt like we were watching “So You Think You Can Dance” with an awesome cultural spin! Ching and Lyle, we loved how you kept the tradition alive and celebrated your big day with meaningful cultural touches. Congratulations again!!

Jen + Matt Wedding

“Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place.” -Zora Neale

A couple that chooses Babyface’s “Every Time I Close My Eyes” as their first dance song earns extra points in my book! Jen and Matt’s beautiful wedding was held at The One and Only Westmount Country Club (Woodland Hills, NJ) on the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone was in a good mood and filled with the holiday (or turkey) spirit–it was the perfect post-Thanksgiving celebration! We are so thankful to be able to work with amazing couples like Jen and Matt. Congratulations again you two!!

Kathy + Sal Wedding

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” -Anatole France

I’m a huge sucker for unique and fun details at a wedding and Kathy and Sal’s wedding had an AWESOME animal theme. Held at the Schiff Family Great Hall (once a lion house!) at the Bronx Zoo in Bronx, NY, they went all out with the theme: animal table numbers, menu cards, invitation, signature drinks, and an urban jungle cake by Sugar Flower Cake Shop. They even used the names of every guest to donate to the Wildlife Conservation Society! How cool and thoughtful is that?!

Kathy and Sal, you are such a sweet couple and thank you for having us at your special celebration. We wish you a lifetime of love, joy, and happy memories with your furry friends!!

Angela + Wayne Wedding

“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” –I Corinthians 13:7-8

It’s so meaningful for us to be able to bring our photo booth to our friends’ wedding. We met Angela and Wayne while searching for a wedding photographer last year and are so lucky to have found them by chance! We chatted for hours at our first consultation and it felt like we had been friends for years. Not only are they SUPER talented (check out their portfolio at wayneyuan.com), they are also incredibly genuine and personable. Their first wedding ceremony and reception was held in San Diego, CA a week ago, and they hosted a second reception in Somerset, NJ to celebrate with their family and friends on the east coast. It was an intimate evening of dancing and games, and it even had a special song performance by the couple themselves! We particularly enjoyed the baby photos (even took a few pictures of them, teehee!), the emotional wedding video by stillmotion, and the heartfelt speeches by the dads.

Angela and Wayne, congratulations again on your marriage! You are truly an inspiring couple and bringing our photo booth to your wedding was an honor and so much fun! We wish you all the happiness in the world!

Lauren + Brandon Wedding

“Love at first sight is easy to understand; it’s when two people have been looking at each other for a lifetime that it becomes a miracle.” -Amy Bloom

It was our first time bringing our photo booth to The Pierre Hotel in NYC–we knew we would love this place just based on pictures and reviews but we fell head over heels for it this past weekend! The Pierre is a Taj Hotel, part of a group of some of the most gorgeously adorned hotels in the world. It had stunning views of Central Park and exquisite décor with an old world charm, and to top it off, outstanding staff and delicious food. Lauren was glowing in her jaw-dropping gown and she and Brandon were in all smiles as they celebrated their special day with close friends and family. We especially loved the floral arrangements in soft pastel colors, romantic candles and chandeliers, awesome live band, and my favorite—Baked by Melissa’s mini cupcakes as wedding favors.

Congratulations again to Lauren and Brandon!! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Linda + Reggie Wedding

“Love is what makes two people sit in the middle of a bench when there is plenty of room at both ends.” –Anonymous

Once in a while, you feel like the world is a very small place when you bump into someone at a place you least expect. This happened to us when we ran into our wedding planner Amanda from Fresh Events Company (based in California) who flew all the way to New Jersey to attend her college roommate’s wedding. Since Amanda was one of the bridesmaids, we knew that Linda and Reggie’s wedding at The Rockleigh Country Club in Norwood, New Jersey would be flawless in every way. From the classy centerpieces to the beautiful uplights, the purple and lavender details were plentiful and really coincided well with the venue. The newlyweds were in all smiles and looked so happy together and very much in love. Their guests (many from out of town) knew how to party and packed the dance floor until the end of the night, even after shoes and shirts–yup, even shirts–came off!

Congratulations, Linda and Reggie! We wish you a lifetime filled with love and happiness!

Suzi + Chris Wedding

“Marriage isn’t about finding the person you can live with, it’s about finding the person you can’t live without.” -Best Man

We really can’t say enough about Chris and Suzi’s wedding. It was incredibly intimate and beautiful from beginning to end, and everything about it was rustic vintage and down to earth—just like the couple. They were such gracious hosts to their family and friends (and even us!) and ensured that everyone was having a good time. The venue they chose to host their celebration, Maritime Parc in Jersey City, NJ, is now one of our favorite venues to work with. Located in the Liberty State Park at the marina, it had the most amazing views of the NYC skyline, and the icing on the cake was the delicious food and the super friendly staff. Suzi looked MODEL-GORGEOUS in her gown and her creativity in the photo booth really impressed us. She and Chris even prepared their own backdrop and chalkboards for the booth and gave their guests beautiful wood picture frames for their favorite photobooth photo. I LOVE it when couples use the photobooth photos as favors! We can’t wait to see the photos from Lev Kuperman Photography!

Chris and Suzi, you are one of the most positive and genuinely nice couples we’ve ever met. Congratulations again and thank you for letting us be part of your super special day!!

Jane + Michael Wedding

“The man or woman you really love will never grow old to you. Through the wrinkles of time, through the bowed frame of years, You will always see the dear face and feel The warm heart union of your eternal love.” -Alfred A. Montapert

Jane and Mike’s wedding was held at Penthouse 808 at the Ravel Hotel in Long Island City, New York, which had breathtaking views of the Queensboro Bridge and the NYC skyline. Jane was so radiant and stunning in her dress and I loved that she and her bridesmaids all wore beautiful, unique headpieces. The wedding style was minimal and industrial, with Asian and Great Gatsby-esque references. They had a yummy signature drink called “The Great Gatsby,” origami cranes hanging over the ceremony site, origami boutonnieres/corsages, and custom CDs and photobooth photos as wedding favors. We particularly loved that in the wedding program, Jane and Mike encouraged their guests to leave a video message in lieu of the guestbook. The highlight of the night was a special song performance to “How Deep is Your Love” by Jane’s closest guy friends–those talented and funny guys can consider doing that for a living!

Congratulations again to Jane and Mike, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!!

Sharyn and Barry Wedding

“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.” -Germaine Greer

When we bring our photo booth to a gorgeous venue with stunning views, we feel like the luckiest people in the world. Sharyn and Barry’s wedding was held at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in New York City. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the space had magnificent views of the Hudson River from almost every room. We couldn’t help but smile and soak in the view of the sunset while setting up the photo booth. The rest of the space was romantically decorated with tall centerpieces, fresh arrangements, and candles hanging from the ceiling. The guests were so natural in front of the camera, especially the adorable flower girls who knew exactly what to do in each shot! If you were there, thanks for all the laughs we were able to share with you. You guys were a blast!!

Congratulations to Sharyn and Barry! Thanks for having us with you on your special day!
